There’s plenty of reason to dress up this week as fashion fever hits Singapore. You guessed right, Singapore Fashion Week and its partner fashion trade event – BLUEPRINT is back to impress with a stellar lineup of cool and elusive independent brands for the picking!
Already into its 6th year, BLUEPRINT 2015 is touted as the fashion trade gateway event in Asia that brings no-holds-barred access to up-and-coming and established labels in the Asian region and beyond. Rub shoulders with a large gathering of like-minded industry insiders at the BLUEPRINT Tradeshow held from 14th to 15th May, or simply shop yourselves silly at the BLUEPRINT Emporium happening 16th to 17th May. With a tightly edited selection of 200 womenswear, menswear and accessory labels and strong industry support, BLUEPRINT Singapore is a fashion free-for-all that anyone who’s fashion-inclined can enjoy.
So what’s in the shuffle for 2015? Expect return appearances by Singapore-based independent designers you already know and love. Carrie K., Marilyn Tan Jewellery, Joanne L., Elohim by SABRINAGOH and Yuki Mitsuyasu will be showcasing new and unforgettable collections, and even some limited edition specials. Add to that the stylish clothing and accessories from Q Menswear, ONE.61, K.BLU, Pleatation and ALT by Curated Editions and it seems like Singapore’s homegrown designers are set on stealing the show.
If you’re looking for something new to place on your radar, BLUEPRINT Singapore promises a fashion-forward lineup of designers from countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Korea, Australia and more! We already have our eyes on a few bright sparks in our choice destinations such as Aly & Rachelle and Playback Concept from Hong Kong, Phuong My from Vietnam, LINE 32 from Malaysia and Lalalove from Thailand.
Of course we’ve only scratched the tip of the iceberg here, and there are heaps of exciting, undiscovered labels that we will leave YOU to explore.
You may even get a chance to spot Miroslava Duma amongst you. The ex-editor of Harper’s Bazaar Russia and fashion week fixture will be checking out the BLUEPRINT Singapore exhibits, and so will we!
