The 600m long Whale Beach is a must-visit if you’re travelling to Sydney. Sitting just 40km north of Sydney CBD, Whale Beach is a clear weekend holiday destination for the locals. Many surfers hit the waves at the northern end of the beach but sunbathers should head down south for calmer waters. After a day out in the sun, end the night with dining establishments like Jonah’s or Moby’s for lip-smacking grub.
