HONG KONG, P.R China – The 23rd Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer closed on a high last week. Held over a span of four eventful days (4-7 July 2016), the event comprised of a trade show featuring over 13 000 buyers from around the globe, a new “Fashion Tech” zone showcasing the industry’s latest digital printing technology and award-winning eco-friendly textile technology, and a seminar.
The fashion shows were undeniably the highlight with designs that were nothing short of spectacular. Donning the theme “Garden Breeze”, the pieces from house shows and the graduation show of Hong Kong Polytechnic University students stunned the crowd with deconstructed edgy oversized jackets, futuristic structured skirts that possessed a great attention to detail and technique, as well as a mix of earthy and eye-popping hues which stayed true to the theme.
We bring you 10 designers who are the cream of the crop in this edition of Hong Kong Fashion Week.
