The season of spring calls for new beginnings – a second chance to get started on those New Year resolutions or upping your living space with a fresh new look. Our home décor trends of 2016 may have given you some ideas, or you’ve been wondering how to incorporate Pantone’s top colours for spring into your home – like Rose Quartz and Serenity. This week we help you bring this pastel party into your home.
Inspired by the dreamy two-tone pastel hues of Hotel Henriette Rive Gauche, a quaint boutique hotel in Paris, we think pastel favourites like pale pink and lilac, soft blue, green and even yellow work well together. However, how do you avoid your space looking like a princess parlour?
We took notes from the boutique hotel. The impeccable work of interior designer, Vanessa Scoffier is all about adding a hint of gold accents to the pastel pieces. Another way to keep the look subtle is to add complementary colours like muted whites and greys to pastel home decor pieces.
