Twice a year, the Travelshopa Team spends a day or two at Singapore’s largest shopping event Boutiques Singapore. For those who have never been, it is a 2 day long shopping event that brings together some of the land’s most creative and design lead designers and retailers. Each edition is themed and the next could not be more fitting for the coming gifting season – Share The Love. What’s more to love is that almost all of the brands share the love for being socially conscious.
Boutiques Singapore is usually a full day affair for us full of talking, mingling, eating, socialising and shopping. While our agenda is long, once we are down with business, and have a few hundred snaps of our favourite products in our camera, we are free to shop. As a premier event that never fails to better itself, today we share what we are most excited to see at Boutiques Singapore on November 6 & 7 at The Pit Building.

Grin by Anne Gedeon
Overall I am anticipating some really creative designs from all the brands. However, since I have to pick one I would have to put the spotlight on Grin by Anne Gedeon. She surprised and delighted me so much with her I Shot a Flower collection at Boutiques Singapore in April 2015 that ever since I have been anticipating what comes next.

Twin Within
Bold statement necklaces are a lazy girl’s life hack. The texture and colour play are to-die-for in this statement necklace from Icelandic jewellery studio, Twin Within. The fact that the brand works closely with FOCOLARE to provide fair employment for mothers in need in the Tagaytay highlands of Philippines makes it all the more appealing.

Stylodeco
I have always been a gull for gold accents. So it’s no surprise this pendant lamp caught my eye. I love the simplicity of the design, topped with a touch of chic from the brass details. This elegant piece would hang perfectly over my desk, complementing my white walls. Stylodeco will be debuting a new collection at Boutiques. I’m looking forward to discovering what’s in store!

Let’s Stay In
I’m excited to visit Let’s Stay In for their beautiful furniture and decor, but also because they’re bringing L.A brand Makerakit to Singapore! These DIY cocktail, perfume and jewellery making kits will make perfect Xmas presents for my girlfriends.
