Dubbed as the best shopping street in Bali, Jalan Laksmana (also known as Jalan Oberoi and an extension of Jalan Kayu Aya) is the main strip of Seminyak. It is a sprawling maze of some of the best local designers and indi stores in Bali. We suggest starting at Seminyak Square, with Jalan Kayu Cendana to your left, and head up towards Jalan Basangkasa (for more worthy shopping), or the reverse. The whole strip is about 1km in length and apart from a great flair of fashion, shopping on Jalan Laksmana also offers a few noteworthy multi-concept stores, kids fashion, furniture and homewares; and not to forget statement artisanal jewellery. If you haven’t got all day to browse the dozens of stores along Laksmana, here’s where we would head to get a fix of shopping in the heart of Seminyak.
