Nestled in Kuala Lumpur’s (KL) trendiest area, around four kilometres south-west of the CBD, Bangsar Baru is a relaxed, suburban shopping haven that’s a lovely breath of fresh air from the fast-paced urban shopping streets we’ve come to know in KL.
At dusk, Bangsar’s many restaurants and bars come to life, turning this quiet “village” into a thriving local hotspot. With its large variety of styles at many different price points, shopping in Bangsar is sure to appeal to Travelshopas with all tastes and budgets.
One Bangsar spot that absolutely blew us away was Bangsar Village II (aka BVII), the newest mall to hit the trendy area. As a boutique shopping centre, its primary focus is on international fashion and will surely reach out to those with discerning tastes. But for some great local brands, give the upper ground floor a quick walkthrough – we found some great stuff hidden there!
Just remember to return to the other parts of Bangsar for some great shopping that will surely fill any empty space in your luggage you might have left!
